ABOUT US

We are a family, raising puppies in our loving home. We put a lot of care into socializing. Each one is bred, raised, and loved to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life.. Beauty is a given, but producing healthy, loving, and versatile dogs is our true goal. We understand the importance of being a reputable breeder.  All of our sires/dams are health tested to ensure they are a good fit for one another to produce the most wonderful puppies.  Our children now ages 5, 8 and 16 play a huge role in helping raise all of the puppies..

WHAT WE DO

Our pups are born and raised in the comfort of our home. We have an open fenced area so the mother can come and go as she needs. The room is consistently set to stay at a comfortable temperature of 80 degrees,  and there is a pull out bed near by so I can sleep in the room with the puppies and mother until they go to their new homes or they are of age that does not require me to do so. This is to ensure the mother is feeding and caring for her puppies properly and no complications arise.  The puppies are weighed every day for the first 2 weeks, than weekly to make sure they are gaining the proper weight. Our Veterinarian checks both the litter and the Mother within 6 weeks after birth, making sure there are no signs of abnormalities, and that the Mother is healthy! We then give all shots at the appropriate times in the puppies lives, along with micro-chipping the puppies for life. During the first three weeks of the puppies life we work on ENS training followed by Puppy Culture up until they go home.  The puppies are ready to go to their new homes after about 8 weeks of age. Each puppy also goes home with a puppy care package which includes their food, treats, toys, and more along with all their health records.

GOING HOME

When our puppies are nearing to go home we start to really key into each individual personality so that we can better match our puppies to the perfect home. We start to look at potential candidates by going through applications we have received.

Most the time families have an idea of who they want - and the puppies gravitate to whom they want. It truly is a very special event to watch as a breeder.  However, we recognize that sometimes this is not always the case; some families are from out of town, some are looking for a service/therapy dog, or are simply just unsure between more than one puppy.  That is okay! We are here to help you find your perfect furever friend!

With that being said, any of our puppies would make excellent service dogs. Since we work on ENS training and Puppy Culture training. ENS training has proven to improve overall growth and development of puppies including cardio vascular performance, immune system, and more tolerance to stress. We start Puppy culture at week 3 after completing ENS training. Puppy culture is more about helping puppies cope with and move past things that would otherwise cause issues as adults. Things like learning different floor textures, hearing different day to day noises such as vacuums, and observing ways to combat obstacles to get to things they want. Socialization is also a major thing we work on. We encourage visitors to come see the puppies as much as possible. Our puppies are handled by children and play with other dogs everyday.

ABOUT THE LABRADOODLE BREED

Labradoodles are happiest when they're with the people they love.  They will adore you and  show great affection and devotion. With the energy and work ethic of both the Lab and the Poodle, they're a joy to train. They are so eager to learn new skills that you need to keep on top of giving them something to learn in their puppy months.  A Labradoodle often approaches life head-on and approaches every new friend with the same enthusiasm.

A Labradoodle is generally easy to train, since they're intelligent and eager to please. They usually do well with other dogs and pets in the household, and they're generally good with children--but they can be exuberant and may unintentionally jump through sheer boisterousness, although this can be quite easliy cured through diligent training.  Overall, however, they make an excellent pet for a first-time dog owner.  They can be calm and quiet while curled up on your feet, but they're also ready to jump up and play a game with only a moment's notice. They're not an ideal guard dog; although they will alert bark, they're more likely to invite an intruder in for tea on the good china.

The Labradoodle coat is hypo-allergenic and can range from low-shedding to basically non-shedding within a litter. It is a good coat for allergy families, although it must always be remembered that every person with allergies will have individual triggers.  Hypo-allergenic means it is a breed that is less likely to trigger allergies.

The Labradoodle coat will need consistent grooming!  Use proper dog brushes to take care of the fine coat to keep it from the tendency to mat and tangle.  Choose a good groomer to help you clip the coat two to three times a year.

FURTHER TRAINING

We have had a lot of questions regarding dog training. I wanted to share a little information for those who wish to pursue further dog training with their pet. For basic obedience training Petsmart is a great alternative. However, if you are looking for more in depth training such as therapy and or service dog or even protection dog training we personally recommend Dog Training Elite.
